The 4th Edition of the “Assises du Droit du Sport”
Take part in the 4th edition of the “Assises du Droit du Sport”, which will be held at the “Maison du Barreau” in Paris, on 9 and 10 July 2019, as part of the International Bar Games organised by the Paris Bar.
More than 300 participants are expected to attend the Sports Law Forum, which will bring together Sport Movement stakeholders (sports federations, clubs, sports unions, sports agents, athletes, coaches, etc.), lawyers and jurists, elected representatives of sport, representatives of public institutions, students, etc.
This year, the “Assises du Droit du Sport” will offer a Main Conference devoted to “L’Avocat dans le Sport” (“The Lawyer in Sport”). In parallel with the Main Conference, several Practical Workshops will be held to address current issues specific to particular sports or sport stakeholders.

Main Conference: The Lawyer in Sport
In just over 20 years, the involvement of lawyers in the sports sector has intensified and diversified.
In the light of this “judiciarisation” of sport, the Main Conference will provide an overview of the practices and perspectives of development of the role of lawyers in the sports sector.
